| Review: | Thanks Gastronomicom! My name is Sorin Sorescu and I attended Gastronomicom school (courses of wine and kitchen) from September to December 2010. Gastronomicom School can be described by these words: professionalism and good condition. Those interested in details can contact me on Facebook.com (I have also many pictures from the school) I think that the virulent negative comments from this forum have obscure interests. | Review: | School is always what you make it! This was an adventure. I had wanted to complete a culinary program for many years, and I had been studying French on my own for awhile. So when I found Gastronomicon I was excited that I could concentrate on the two at the same time! And for the price you can't beat it. Depending on the time of year the area can be quite sleepy and remote, or it can be packed full of vacationers. For me Gastronomicon worked! I wanted to get more proficient with my culinary and French language skills, and I did! This is school, and this is work. If you really want to get a lot out of the situation, you need to put yourself out there, work hard, and study hard. Yes, there is time for play too! I also took advantage of the stagiaire/internship program, and got a chance to work in a 2 Star Michelin Restaurant! Which received it's 3rd star right after I finished! It was amazing difficult work, boot camp, but I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. I recommend that you push yourself to explore, push yourself to get out and speak the language, practice the language. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, use what you know to get your point across. Take advantage of the kitchen time, take notes, experiment, and have fun! This is an adventure, enjoy it! Comments [ 3 ] |

| Review: | Amazing Experience Gastronomicom was a great experience and I would recommend the school to anyone who loves food and wine. I attended the 3 month culinary program and learned so much more than I thought possible in that short period of time. Chef Iman is a very talented chef and is great with teaching and explaining to students at every level of culinary knowledge. I also enjoyed the 3 hrs of daily french classes. The french I learned through the school made my travels through France much more easy and enjoyable. Stephan and Ava are both very patient and experienced teachers. I was not enrolled in the pastry or wine courses but I have heard only good things from the students. It has been 4 months since I finished the program and I am constantly putting to use everything I learned in the kitchen. Comments [ 1 ] |

| Review: | Good school The school is located on the Mediterranean coast of the town. Small but very comfortable. Teaching facilities are very complete .Compared to other high school tuition, Gastronomicom school is absolutely affordable. Here, if your French is good enough, then six hours per day on cooking lessons. And every day you can enjoy your handmade French cuisine, this is a Michelin star level. Schools and dormitories are in a resort, relative to other similar schools in France, accommodation very good. The only problem is the school's free wireless network is not very stable.Principal arranged for each student internships, mostly in upscale hotels. This is unthinkable in other schools. | Review: | A culinary school without limits ! I attended the food and wine classes throughout the period of the training and am very happy with my whole experience. The monitoring of teachers is of high quality and it really helped me gain confidence. I arrived thinking to already know a lot about food but over the days the school team has opened to me a culinary world without limits. A very professional training that I recommend to anyone who wants to learn the real thing. Thank you to Valerie for her kindness and her love for wines .... Comments [ 3 ] |
